Scientists from Bristol University have discovered that a vegetarian diet may give your skin a healthy glow that others find more attractive than a suntan. This preliminary research, due to be published later this year, suggests that a healthy diet could transform skin colour in as little as a month. The secret lies in carotenoids, pigments found in plants. Carotenoids are found in many fruit and vegetables including apricots, melons, grapefruit, spinach, chillies and peppers.
