Georgia Meacham
Georgia Meacham is an English actress and model, and an ambassador for Veganuary.
Georgia’s recent film credits include Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and Wonder Woman 1984. As a model, she appeared in Vogue and has modelled for Baptiste, Karen Millen, L’ Oreal, Pepe Jeans, Ted Baker, and Wella. Georgia was born “moderately deaf” and used to hide her deafness, fearing that it would affect her career. But she ‘came out’ as deaf in 2024 and now wants to be a positive role model for other deaf people.
Georgia became vegan around 2016, calling the decision a “no brainer”. Georgia’s mum was a vegetarian so she always had a meat-free option at home. She also grew up surrounded by animals so it didn’t make sense to her to eat animals if she didn’t have to. She became vegetarian first but transitioned to a vegan when she went to university at the age of 18.
In 2023, Georgia ran every day for 30 days to raise money to help end whale and dolphin captivity worldwide.
“I recommend a vegan diet to everyone. Firstly, because you’re saving loads of animals, you’re helping the planet and you also feel so good. I feel like I have a lot of energy. And just knowing that you’re being kind and helping others is obviously the best thing in the world!”
