Chronixx
Chronixx (Jamar McNaughton) is a Jamaican reggae star, who follows a Rastafarian ital diet. He started making music when he was just five years old and by the age of 11 he was a choir director and had recorded his first song. He has now released two EPs, and in 2017 released the album Chronology, which received a Grammy nomination. In 2020, Chronixx released the first single from his follow-up album Dela Splash, but, with the exception of a 2022 single called ‘Never Give Up’ and a 2023 appearance at London’s City Splash, he has been on a musical hiatus since. Fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the recording studio.
“Our connection to nature is inevitable, but some of us acknowledge it and some of us don’t. And when you acknowledge your connection to nature, that is how you discover health and purpose in life, To be healthy is to create a better earth. So when I take good care of myself as just one cell in the universe, it means I’m not doing it in a selfish way—I’m doing it to take care of my whole environment.” – self.com
