Omari McQueen
Omari McQueen is an award-winning chef, entrepreneur and television host from the UK. At just 11 years old, he became the UK’s youngest restaurateur when he opened his first pop-up restaurant and he is also the founder of Dipalicious, a vegan dips company. Omari starred in CBBC’s What’s Cooking Omari? and has already written two cookbooks: Omari McQueen’s Best Bites Cookbook and Vegan Family Cookbook.
Omari started exploring veganism when he was seven years old. He told The Vegan Society:
“When I was seven years old my mum was sick. I wanted to research what could get her back on her feet and feeling better. I found out about veganism and also saw the way animals were treated for food and clothes, and I didn’t like the way that was happening. So I decided to become vegan.”
