Would you swap?

Eating meat, fish, dairy and eggs promotes deadly diseases and is destroying the planet. If there were a way to be healthier, greener and save billions of animals, would you swap?

For the animals?
Female pigs endure repeated forced pregnancies and confinement, piglets suffer painful mutilations, and dairy cows are repeatedly impregnated, separated from their calves and slaughtered after declining health, while male calves and chicks are often killed shortly after birth. Wouldn’t swap places? Swap your plate instead!

But that’s not all…

For our planet?
The planet faces severe environmental damage from rising temperatures, pollution and disappearing wildlife, with the meat and dairy industries being major contributors.

For your health?
Eating animals increases the risk of serious health issues, including heart disease, cancer, diabetes and exposure to harmful toxins and antibiotic-resistant superbugs.

For the Animals?

pig in a cage

Female pigs are artificially impregnated as early as eight months old, up to 12 times throughout their lives. They are confined in tiny metal crates for birthing, preventing movement or nurturing of their piglets.

Piglets endure painful procedures like tail severing and teeth clipping without anaesthesia. At just six months old, they are killed in CO₂ gas chambers, which causes severe pain and suffering.

Dairy cows are forced through cycles of insemination, pregnancy and heavy milk production. After a few cycles, they are slaughtered when their health declines.

Newborn calves are taken away from their mothers soon after birth. Female calves are isolated, while male calves are often killed within days, considered waste by the dairy industry.

Many egg-laying hens live in overcrowded cages, with parts of their beaks painfully removed. They are forced to produce eggs at unnatural rates.

Male chicks, unable to lay eggs, are killed at just a day old, often by gassing.

For Your Health?

Eating meat raises cholesterol, blood pressure and the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Meat is linked to several cancers, including bowel and stomach. Processed meat (sausages, bacon, ham, etc) is a Group 1 carcinogen – the same as cigarettes!

Meat eating increases the risk of type 2 diabetes and contributes to obesity.

Viva! Planet

The planet is heating, forests are burning, air and oceans are polluted, soil has degraded and wildlife is disappearing. Animals raised for meat and dairy are the major cause of most environmental catastrophes that threaten our world.

Going vegan is the single most effective way to reduce your environmental impact. Switching to a vegan diet would cut agricultural land use by over 75 per cent.
