Viva! relaunches the viral Vegan Now campaign
UK-based animal welfare charity Viva! have spent over two decades campaigning against the sale of kangaroo meat, ensuring that all UK supermarkets are kangaroo meat free. Now, the charity is backing an innovative short film about kangaroo leather, created by Hollywood producer Gavin Palone (Gilmore Girls and Panic Room) and director Derek Ambrosi.
If you truly believe that animals are sentient and can therefore experience a wide range of emotions, you wouldn’t kill them. No animal wants to die. The only way to prevent animal suffering is to go vegan.
Veganuary is now drawing to a close, with a whopping half a million people choosing to have taken part this year. Many participants will be wondering what comes next – that’s where V7 comes in! V7 is the free one-week vegan challenge, complete with a vegan shopping list and seven days of delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
