Farmed animals have been included in The Government’s Action Plan for Animal Welfare but it’s not enough.
This made the headlines in The Telegraph recently, which means that the Government has committed to phase out the breeding of fast-growing chickens for meat, otherwise known as broilers.
The meat industry uses the tobacco playbook to sow doubt about health risks. Fake science and lobbying undermine public trust.
