Progress! Yesterday, the European Commission banned the use of cages on animal farms in a historic win for animal rights that Viva! helped fight for.
Farmed animals have been included in The Government’s Action Plan for Animal Welfare but it’s not enough.
If you truly believe that animals are sentient and can therefore experience a wide range of emotions, you wouldn’t kill them. No animal wants to die. The only way to prevent animal suffering is to go vegan.
