Coventry boasts an impressive array of delicious plant-based menus and an ever-growing vegan community. Now, animal welfare charity Viva! are returning to the city for the third year in a row, in celebration of all things vegan!

Building on the roaring success of last year, Viva! is returning to the fantastic city of Coventry with their Coventry Viva! Vegan Festival. Taking place on 3 August, the festival will celebrate all that veganism has to offer from local traders and nationwide retailers.

Located in the outstanding Coventry Cathedral, the vegan festival is home to over 80 stalls each offering unique vegan delights. This year, the festival also boats an outdoor vegan bar, bouncy castle and food trucks so you can soak up the summer sun!

So whether you’re looking for beautiful ethical clothing or just some foodie inspiration, the festival will be a brilliant day out for all the family.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to taste vegan food, explore cruelty-free clothing and cosmetics, and learn more about health and nutrition. From decadent brownies from Dark Matters, to vegan mezze and kebabs from Koocha, to traditional vegan halva from Sesame Kingdom – there’s something for everyone.

Viva! founder and director Juliet Gellatley said: “Interest in veganism has continued to soar globally and shows no signs of slowing down. This immense growth in veganism can be seen in the amazing stallholders that we have planned for our festival. Viva!’s vegan festivals are a fantastic way of bringing people together and showcasing the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. Regardless of dietary choices, we want everyone to come along and see just how wonderful vegan food can be.”

Entry is just £3 on the door or festival-goers can buy a VIP ticket for £12, which includes fast-track entry and a goody bag full of products, samples and discounts.

All proceeds go back to the charity to help Viva! conduct important undercover investigations, monitor the latest research on health and environmental issues, and host vegan outreach events.
