Their fourth studio album, The Mindsweep, was released in 2015, followed by The Spark in 2017. Their sixth album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible was released in April 2020 and their seventh and latest album, A Kiss for the Whole World, was released on 21 April 2023 and gave the band their first number one album.
Rou Reynolds was actually “born vegan” and was raised on a plant-based diet for the first two years of his life. However, a vegan-sceptic doctor advised his parents to feed him meat to avoid deficiencies. We now have more information and data so know that a well-planned vegan diet is suitable for all stages of life. As an adult, Reynolds decided to go vegan around 2015 and is quoted by Veganuary as saying:
“Veganism is such a quick and direct way to reduce one’s carbon footprint. As world leaders and corporate power fail to properly tackle climate change, we can at least take some things into our own hands and lead by example.”
