Mobius Loop

Mobius Loop is a UK folk band formed by Alexander and Rose Orion. They describe themselves as a “philosophical folk” band, from Preston in the UK. They have released five studio albums since 2015: Once Upon an Infinity, Gemi, 2020 Vi5ion and 2024’s Dance While You Can. In 2025, Mobius Loop released their fifth album, Polarity.

Why Mobius Loop is vegan

Mobius Loop is vegan for the animals, based on their philosophy of “empathy and compassion.”

Unlike many bands, Mobius Loop have a mission statement: “Mobius Loop are on a mission to raise positive vibrations, projecting an organic co-operative voice for humanist spirituality, vegan philosophy, grassroots philanthropy, true democracy and alchemical magic.”Mobius Loop. 2026. On their website they also state: “”May all beings be free from slavery, may every cage be open and empty”, a line taken from the band’s song ‘May All Beings Be’.

In 2025, Mobius Loop became patrons of Greenwood Farm Animal Sanctuary, “a Vegan Farm Animal Sanctuary where rescued farm animals can enjoy their life in peace and freedom after escaping the meat, fur, egg or dairy industry.”1Mobius Loop. 2025.
