Jamie Adenuga, better known by his stage name Jme, is a grime MC and co-founder of the crew and label Boy Better Know. He released his self-produced debut album, Famous?, in 2008 followed by Blam! in 2010. His certified gold third album, Integrity>, is his most successful to date, reaching number 12 in the UK Album Charts and number one in the UK R&B Album charts. Although his fourth album, Grime MC, didn’t perform as well, it was highly-acclaimed by critics.

Jme is vegan for the animals.

Jme went vegan in 2012 after hearing a speech by an animal rights activist about having compassion for animals.¹_marimbae. 2026. Since then he’s felt healthier and experienced “no downsides” to his plant-based diet.

Jme also recorded a song for and appeared in Simon Amstell’s vegan mockumentary Carnage as a fictional version of himself, and will have played at Vegan Camp Out three times as of August 2026.
