Declan McKenna
Declan McKenna is an English singer-songwriter who gained recognition for winning the Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent Competition in 2015. Since then, he has released three successful albums: What Do You Think About the Car? in 2017, Zeros in 2020, and What Happened to the Beach? in 2024.
Declan has always been politically and socially-minded. His first self-released single, called Brazil, written when he was 16, criticised FIFA for awarding the 2014 World Cup to the South American country without addressing the extensive and deep poverty affecting the people of the nation.
