Daniel P. Carter is a British rock musician and the host of BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show. He is the former singer and guitarist for hardcore punk band Hexes, the former bassist for the alternative rock band A, the lead guitarist for Bloodhound Gang, and current guitarist for metal band Krokodil.

Bloodhound Gang made a name for themselves with the catchy and controversial hit The Bad Touch, which reached number one in charts across Europe and made it to number four in the UK charts in 1999. A couple of years later, A’s single, Nothing, could be heard dominating UK airwaves during 2002, reaching number 9 in the UK charts.

Daniel is also a member of Collective; a songwriting and production team. As such, he co-wrote McFly’s number one single ‘Star Girl’.
