Tom Ward
Tom Ward is an Australian stand-up comedian, voice-over artist and presenter, working across live comedy, television and audio platforms.
He is the co-host of the podcast Bad Boys Done Good, which returned for a second series featuring high-profile guests including Matt Le Tissier, Bobby Davro and Dirty Dike, with further episodes planned. He also co-hosts Where Did Everyone Go? alongside Sascha Auerbach – a podcast spin-off from the television series Abandoned Engineering, which Ward narrates. The show explores abandoned locations around the world, examining their histories and the reasons they were left behind.
Ward has appeared on major UK television programmes including Live at the Apollo and QI. He performed a work-in-progress show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2025 and is planning a full tour in 2026.
“I became vegan in 2015, as I just couldn’t justify eating dairy and eggs with what I knew about those industries.
I’d been vegetarian for years for animal welfare reasons, but it was obvious that if that matters to you, then why only be half in? It’s so much easier now and as with anything you care about, the bottom line is ‘How much are you willing to give up for what you believe?’ If the answer’s ‘not much’, you have to ask if you really believe it at all.
I feel so much better for cutting out casual cruelty from everyday things. It’s verging on bizarre how many otherwise good people don’t seem to mind being complicit in a needlessly cruel industry. Thank you to Viva! for spreading awareness.”
