Why Nikki Glaser is vegan
Nikki Glaser is vegan for the animals.
Nikki Glaser has been vegan since 2016 and it was her love of dogs that helped her make the change. She told Gynweth Paltrow on The Goop Podcast that she could see the similarities between the way her rescued dogs were mistreated and the way animals are exploited on factory farms. She even extends her compassion to bugs and spiders she sees in her home, giving them a name and leaving them alone.1goop. 2025. Nikki Glaser on Sex, Shame and Stand-Up — The goop Podcast. Youtube. “We ruin people’s lives if we find out they even hit a dog or kick a dog. Yet there’s pigs and cows who are equally as intelligent as your dog, or more intelligent, and we are putting them through a life of suffering. If you saw the footage… you wouldn’t be able to do it.”2Smith, R. 2026. 21 vegan comedians who are rewriting the “humourless vegan” cliché. Vegan Food & Living.
