Why Justin Moorhouse is vegan

Justin Moorhouse is vegan for the animals.

Justin calls himself “the undercover vegan” as most people don’t expect him to follow a plant-based diet. He became vegan around 2018 after being a vegetarian for ethical reasons most of his adult life:

“I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my adult life for ethical reasons. I think if you’re a vegetarian for ethical reasons you should be vegan really – the dairy and egg industry is crueller than the meat industry – so about a year ago I decided to go for it. It’s not as hard I thought it would be and not a big change really. I enjoy it, I feel better for it but I’m not a smug vegan – the first thing I tell you when I walk in the room is it’s only part of me – it’s not my whole thing!”1Northern Life. 2019.
