Peter Sarsgaard
Peter Sarsgaard is an American actor. His film debut as in Dead Man Walking in 1995. In the nineties he went on to feature in The Man in the Iron Mask and won critical acclaim for his role in Boys Don’t Cry. 2001 saw Peter land his first leading role in The Center of the World. Throughout the 2000s, Peter appeared in a variety of films including: Garden State, Flightplan, Jarhead, The Skeleton Key, Orphan, An Education, Knight and Day, Green Lantern, Lovelace, Blue Jasmine, Black Mass and The Magnificent Seven.
It was Sarsgaard’s portrayal of the journalist Charles Lane in Shattered Glass that showed his star potential, earning him his first Golden Globe nomination.
