Bella Ramsey

Bella Ramsey is an English actor, best known for their roles as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones and as Ellie in The Last of Us, alongside Pedro Pascal. They were nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe for the latter. This made Bella the first non-binary actor to be nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards. They also provide the voice for Molly in Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.

Bella Ramsey is vegan for the animals and the environment.

Bella went vegan for the animals but also appreciates the environmental benefits of a plant-based diet. In 2023, Bella was named one of the “most beautiful vegan celebrities of 2023.” In 2025, it was reported that Bella had added “the occasional free-range egg” to their diet.²Phillip, R. 2025. Bella stated that they’re “supposedly vegan”  but a pea allergy made it hard to get enough protein without eating eggs. As we define veganism as avoiding animal products and exploitation as far as is practicable, and as pulses and legumes are a staple source of protein for vegans, we’ll let you decide if Bella Ramsey should still be considered vegan.
