Pancreatic cancer is another cancer linked to diet, specifically Western-style diets rich in meat, dairy foods and refined cereal products (white bread, white rice and white pasta) as well as sugar.
On the other hand, a range of plant-based foods have a protective effect – especially citrus fruit, melons, berries, dark green and yellow vegetables, tomatoes, beans and peas, nuts, wholegrains and other fibre-rich foods.
