Millions of people are coming together around the world on Saturday 6 November to protest against the climate crisis and demand global climate justice. As the world’s media focusses on these marches and COP26, vegans have a historic opportunity to unite together and raise awareness that we cannot fix climate change without diet change.

We are reaching out to our supporters to ask that you take part in a march close to you and speak up for the animals and planet. Viva! staff are taking part in the marches in Glasgow and Bristol, but we need your help to cover the UK.

Please get in touch with us at campaignorders@viva.org.uk if you can take part in one of the following marches. We can send you banners, placards and leaflets which raise awareness that animal agriculture is destroying the planet, and that going vegan is essential to prevent climate collapse. Please let us know which city you’re attending, the delivery address and if you’re ordering on behalf of a local group.

The Viva! team are also going to be in Glasgow as COP26 begins. Join us on 1 November for street outreach, and 2 November for a photoshoot demanding that the governments address animal agriculture as one of the leading causes of the climate crisis.

Inspired by the Plant-Based Treaty, a landmark international treaty and first of its kind to put food systems at the heart of combating the climate crisis, Vegans United for the Planet was created specifically for COP26.  Both the treaty and the contingency aim to halt the widespread degradation of critical ecosystems caused by animal agriculture, to promote a shift to more healthy, sustainable plant-based diets and to actively reverse damage done to planetary functions, ecosystem services and biodiversity.
