Fast Food Chain Leon’s New Vegan Menu: Here’s What You Need to Know
Here at Viva! HQ, we love celebrating restaurants that are making it easy and accessible to choose vegan options when eating out – and Leon is making it easier (and yummier) than ever with their soon-to-be menu.
Leon has already seen massive success with their current vegan offerings, with sales rising 19% between January 2018 and January 2019. And, if their current vegan options are anything to go by, we should all be queuing up outside for their new range.
“Since we opened our doors 15 years ago, we have continued to innovate, providing new and exciting ways for everyone to eat fresh, natural and seasonal food,” explains CEO and co-founder John Vincent
“Over that time, we have constantly evolved and this latest menu shake up marks an important step for us – we know plant-based eating is better for body and planet, but we want to make plant-based options the tastiest choice too.”
The new menu promises to let us relive our childhood with their new vegan soft-serve ice-cream and indulge in our cheezy vegan dreams with their new nuggets, to name a few.

The New Vegan Menu
‘Jack Wings’ – £3.96
Potentially the most tantalising new option on the menu, Leon is launching a vegan ‘chicken’ wing made from jackfruit and vegan cheese to really up the flavour.
Coco Whip Ice-cream- £2.65
The days of longing for a soft vegan ice-cream on a hot summer’s day are over! The coconut-based Mr.Whippy style ice-cream is available in three flavours; Caramel and Cacao, Chocolate Ruby Ripple and Passionfruit, and Lemongrass and Pomegranate!
Raspberry and Rose Doughnut (current doughnuts priced at £3.90)
This special doughnut is the most delicious way to help Leon celebrate turning 15. The birthday doughnut sounds delightful and we’re sure it tastes even better.
Red Velvet Cupcake (current cakes priced at £3.30)
Wow…talk about indulgence. Soft, spongy cupcake topped with rich vanilla icing, Leon really know how to celebrate turning 15! We wonder how they’ll compare to our Vegan Recipe Club cupcakes?
Vegan Milkshakes
The new vegan milkshakes will be made with oat milk, so you can get all the creaminess with none of the cruelty dairy comes with.
Vegan sauces
Leon will also be adding new vegan sauces to help brighten up their amazing vegan options that they already have alongside the new menu. Did someone say vegan aioli?
The new menu is available from June 13.
