Pia Werzinger

Feeling extremely passionate about Viva!’s work, Pia moved halfway across the country in November 2021 to be part of the movement. She now is responsible for keeping you up to date on the latest recipes and vegan food news on our Vegan Recipe Club socials.

Pia became vegetarian during a gap year in South-East Asia over 12 years ago, after making ‘the connection’ and learning about the horrors of the dog meat trade. Following lots of research into animal agriculture standards, she’s now been vegan for 8 years and since made it her aim to be a voice for the voiceless by volunteering for Animal Rebellion, organising vegan outreach events across the south of England and even staring a vegan food bank in her hometown, Worthing!
