8th March 2013 Viva! help push meat and dairy off the menu at VegfestUK London OlympiaEuropes biggest veggie pressure group Viva! are helping push meat and dairy off the menu for thousands of people in the wake of the horseburger scandal and today announce a series of talks and demos at a brand new veggie lifestyle show at Kensington Olympia in October.
Members of the Viva! team including their founder Juliet Gellatley will be out in force at the London event in their quest to help more people go veggie, and their presentations include an examination of the safety of soya, a look at how the meat and dairy trade is decimating world wildlife, a cookery demo with simple and easy vegan options, and a new talk focusing on the menopause, hormonal imbalance and plant based diets. Viva! will also have a large stall full of information about the benefits of going veggie, recipe cards, leaflets, magazines, books and merchandise, ready for the expected 10,000 visitors to the show, many hungry not only for food but also information about the benefits of the veggie lifestyle.
