Recently won a Vegetarian Society Award (Best eating out category). Relaxing decor and atmosphere. The cafe is on the ground floor and although it is a 'help yourself' buffet the food is prepared by the chef on the premises and so is always fresh. Wonderful vegan cakes and home made ice cream (try the pear - it's heaven). Lots of raw food too, which is so delicious I have converted some carnivorous colleagues. The raw food restaurant is open in the evenings and is very exciting and exclusively vegan e.g. bangers and mash made with portobello mushroom 'sausage' root veg mash and caramelised onion gravy. Puddings include mint choc ice cream torte and ginger spiced apple crumble with cinnamon cream. |

It is a fairly new family business, run by vegans and vegetarians. This cafe is 100% vegan and although the food is inexpensive the quality is very high and the service is excellent. You can hire the cafe for special occasions. A family member hired it for his 40th and the Loving Hut went to a lot of effort to make it special. Vegan heaven! |
